Apart from the skills that can be used the organizational heads can use managerial techniques to ensure that everything goes on simultaneously. These techniques are staffing, planning, organizing, directing and controlling.

Staffing is a tool that is used to ensure labor required to do operations in the working place is obtained and works efficiently. A determined administrator will not just go for anybody out there. One should be able to choose the best workers out there with high level of skills, knowledge and experience. Poor staffing choice will lead to low rate of production from the employees. To ensure coordination of efforts the employees should be monitored and evaluated to check on their performance.

Every organization sets its own budget standards. These are act as goals to be reached but things may go wrong and they never achieve the standards and then it will be said to be unfavorable. However, sometimes it works so well and meet the standards to be favorable. The controlling technique can be used to check for any variances from the standard performances. This works so well towards unity of efforts.

The organizing function is now the actual coordination function as it involves doing all the activities to ensure that all efforts are directed to one goal.
