Survey Says Women Want a Bag From This Brand

While it's mid-July and temperatures are hovering in the vicinity of boiling hot for much of the country, most fashion girls are already pondering their fall handbag purchase, making a recent survey conducted by Baird Equity Research quite timely. The subject? The handbag brands that women intend on purchasing in the near future. And there was one company in particular that came out on top—the classic, all-American Coach.

Baird surveyed 500 women in the U.S. on their intent to purchase a Coach handbag in the next three to six months and a whopping 43% responded yes or maybe. Furthermore, in the first quarter of the year, the brand has seen strong sales growth, which is expected to continue, according to The Fashion Law. Much of this can be attributed to the brand's fresh new look (thanks to creative director Stuart Vevers), its coveted 1941 and Disney collections, and endorsement of its goods from cool, fashion-forward celebrities like Emma Roberts, Chrissy Teigen, and Chloë Grace Moretz. Much of the Disney collection quickly sold out and has been seen on a slew of It girls. We think it's safe to say that Coach is officially back.
