We'll be the first to admit that it can be a little painful spending good money on a swimsuit that you probably won't get the chance to wear as much as other pieces in your wardrobe, but they're an essential purchase nonetheless. Given the abundance of one-piece swimwear options that resemble bodysuits these days (given the current swimwear trend), it got us thinking that it would be a waste to not get a little more wear out of them.
We came across many stellar suits that would look just as cute with a pair of denim shorts and a bomber jacket, for example, as they do on the beach. A couple things to look for are that they veer on the side of tasteful (i.e. avoid the major plunging necklines and styles with sultry cut-outs), and that they're not overly shiny, since most tops and bodysuits don't use shiny material.
