One of the most coveted things in the fashion editor world is being bestowed with an illustration in your likeness. With the emergence of Instagram as one of the foremost vehicles for illustrators to share their work, we have more access than ever into the creative minds of some of the world's most brilliant illustrators.
What's particularly interesting is to see how different artists treat different editors; while street style photographers' lenses are mostly going to duplicate one outfit in similar fashion, illustrators have a lot more creative freedom. They show us sides of people we wouldn't necessarily see otherwise, and for that gift we are thankful.
