Update Your Wardrobe To Country Western

By Hazel Washington

Western show season has already started. The beginning of the year is a great time to make sure that your wardrobe is up to par. Western wear show outfits need to be in good form if you want to wear them during this year's shows.

Black is a classic color and works well with show riding. Riders are being judged for more than just style, and wearing dark pants and chaps will make movements in your legs much less noticeable than light colored pants would. If you are bored with the color try spicing it up with a bright colored cowboy hat.

Start off by looking through your closet and seeing if you have any items that need to be replaced. Upgrade worn items or out of style items and put the rest aside. Some western wear items may not be suitable to wear to this year's show, but they can still be used in the future for other events.

Yes, when buying a new jacket it is perfectly okay, indeed it is recommended, that you buy a new jacket in the same style as the old one. If you did your homework when you bought that first jacket, all you need to do is copy the look. The quality will be better but the style will be the same. This is because what is effective for most business and professional people does not change from year to year.

Belts are a great way to change the shape of an outfit, updating a look. You could also change a belt in a matching colour for one in a contrasting colour. Try adding a dark brown belt to a beige trench coat to give it a new look for the season.

Look for a variety of great accessories at great prices to allow you to mix and match for lots of different looks and also keep within your budget. You will then always have a fresh and up to date wardrobe that will look amazing.
