Reason Behind Two Tattoo Designs

By Ailene Acord

More than just pretty designs engraved in the flesh, tattoos are identity statements, symbols of highly valued things in the lives of individuals.

Celtic cross tattoos symbolize Christianity and religion. Originating in the 5th century, the celtic cross was both a symbol of Celtic faith and Celtic heritage. It is in countries like Ireland and Scotland that this popular pagan symbol has been truly popular in Celtic communities.

Hence, the metaphor represents something beautiful and new as a butterfly that emerges from something that is not necessarily a symbol of beauty. Additionally, the butterfly emerges with wings. These wings symbolize a soaring or new way travelled. Finally, this symbolism of a tattoo design using butterflies is the beauty of the butterfly. Butterflies are often very colourful and nature has blessed these creatures with spectacular colours. That is why they symbolize beauty to the person who has a tattoo design of the butterfly on their body.

Butterfly tattoo designs represent a variety of symbolisms depending on the society looking at it. Attractiveness is definitely a common denominator of these symbolisms.

Sure, they are really important to you today, but what about tomorrow, next month, 15 years from now. Think long and hard. Maybe it is a better idea to have some kind of a "symbol" tattoo that is important to both of you. A name is very personal and Cover up work or removal is very expensive. The name thing did not work out so well for Angelina Jolie did it?

There are two common ways in which a tattooist can apply tattoos to a person's body. Those two specific ways include the use of a permanent process and a non permanent one. As part of the permanent process, the tattoo artist will use a tattoo gun that utilizes a needle. This needle will inject the permanent dye into the skin at the exact right depth so that the dye remains underneath the skin. Once the tattoo has been permanently etched into the person's body then it is there to stay unless the person uses an inexpensive laser tattoo removal process. The second process of applying a tattoo uses a temporary process. This temporary process utilizes a dye called Henna which is extracted from a plant in the Middle East. Generally, the Henna tattoo that is applied will remain on the person's skin for a period of two weeks.
