Advice On Healthy Eyes

By Dennis E. Price

In today's our eyes are under constant stain from the elements and also technology . Most of us would agree that each job now contains a great of work to be completed either by computer or tablet. This places a lot of pressure on our eyes as we forget to take constant breaks from the screens which in turn place a considerable strain on our precious eyes.

A wonderful piece of advice is to keep your eyes clean at all times. This is very important especially in built areas such as towns and cities where there is noticeably more smog, grim and dirt in the air due to the car fumes and other elements. Your face and eyes can be kept clean by using wipes to cleanse your eyes or a special potion which is ideally suited for eyes only. The last piece of advice could be to use a hot, wet cloth or towel and place this loosely over your eyes and face for several minutes to try and rejuvenate your eyes.

Everyone without realising is placing their eyes under a considerable amount of strain. Over a period of time our eye muscles will become weak due to various strains we place on them and also by not taking enough breaks when using a computer or hand held tablet. You can try and reduce the damage by taking plenty of breaks and having the room well lit.

Our eyes are under constant threat by the environment which surrounds us. Each day our daily lives bring us in contact with the elements of our world such as dirt or dust. Although our eyes are delicate they can respond to most things which may irritate them provided they receive help from us. Some research has shown that by eating the appropriate fruit and vegetables we can boost our eyesight.

Your eyes are very precious and need to be looked after like the rest of your body. Provided you eat a healthy diet and visit an optician on a regular basis , your eyes will stay in good condition.

The best piece of advice to give and keep would be to visit your optician at least once a year or perhaps twice a year depending on your age. Heed what he says regarding your eyesight and pay particular attention to any changes you feel are occurring and let him know as soon as possible.
