Bears Of The Abbey And Other Treasures

By Angel Dudley

A person searching online for the term, Bears of the Abbey, could be looking for a particular site with that name. The site offers a wide assortment of unique objects designed by one artist. While teddy bears are the main attraction on the site, the artist makes other various stuffed toys, as well. From bears, to puppies, to Santa dolls, the creations all have a vintage look that appeals to children and adults. Many collectors have discovered the site, and at least one celebrity owns a few pieces from the collection.

Looking at the site is an entertaining experience, and one might discover numerous pieces that would make perfect gifts for other people. An example of a bear that could be available is a white polar bear made with either alpaca fiber or mohair. The bear has a long, dark gray nose, and it looks both lovable and realistic.

Another toy people could find on the site is a toy grizzly bear. The fur that covers its body is long and brownish-red. The grizzly bear could be a gift that a young one would probably adore, but it is also a striking stuffed animal, and an adult might wish to proudly exhibit it on a shelf.

One of the bears in the photo gallery resembles a traditional style of teddy bear. Round button eyes give its face a look of surprise. The fur that the bear is adorned with is a pretty mix of white with a honey hue.

There is an array of dogs and puppies to consider, too. Displayed in the gallery is a photo of a dog with a wide nose and big eyes, accompanied by a small puppy that appears to be the offspring of the older dog. Both animals have fur that is white, and the adult is wearing a handkerchief with a pattern of bright flowers on its neck.

Another puppy has fur of a beautiful color that looks like the shade of honey or a peach. It is made from mohair, and it has big, soft ears. Almost any young child who receives such a toy would likely be happy, and it looks like something that a little boy or girl might want as a sleeping companion. The animal is small enough to fit into the hand of a man, making it the perfect object to carry in backpacks, big handbags, and strollers that also contain young children.

In addition to an array of animals, the site also displays stuffed Santa dolls. One of the dolls looks like a unique blend of Santa and one of his elves. He has drooping eyelids and a big, white beard. Another Santa is designed to appear tall and thin, not unlike the European version of Santa. His eyes are made of glass, and his eyelids are made from suede.

There is plenty to consider on the Bears of the Abbey site. Children could find it a difficult task to select only a single toy. Adults who like vintage items will likely enjoy the choices available. The individual who designs the stuffed objects is creative in a unique way.
