The Process Of Tying A Head Turban

Hair covers comprise of pieces of clothing that are wound on the head. This practice of covering the hair is done for various reasons. To some, it is a religious practice while to others, it is for social reasons. Various groups pick up the practice. To such groups, this is a way of identifying themselves with the particular group of people. Others do it for hygiene purposes. In other religions, leaders tie them so as to be easily identified from the rest of the congregation. Thus, a head turban can be used for very many reasons.

Individuals wearing of hair covers for the first time are likely to find it tricky. However, there are hair scarves that come with instructions to be followed, making the tying process be quite easy if put to practice. First, one has to fold the clothing into four parts. Be sure to make the ends neat and of equal lengths and sizes. Prepare your hair, especially individuals with long hair. Fastening it like a bun holding it with a rubber band will give room for one check if he is doing it properly.

The folded bun of hair should be at the fore place. Get a small cloth like cap. This serves as a holding fabric to the hair. Tucking the exposed parts of hair in it, carefully cover all loose ends except the side burns. The fabric should then be fitted on top of that bun like hair. Make sure the excess piece of the scarf is at the nape of the neck. Straighten the creases making sure that it is somehow tight.

Sikhs do wear scarves to promote equality in their religion. It supplements as a cover for the hair and easy identification of a Sikh. They do not cut their hair to show respect to God and hence the hair gear serves as a dust cover. It is a way of keeping the hair clean for longer periods. Christians, Jews and Hindus do also cover their hair when visiting churches and synagogues.

Cutting any extra piece of that excess scarf ensures that it looks tidy when worn. Tucking the top part on the hair is to be done in front of as mirror for quality results. From underneath, get all hair gear over and over the skull until it is fully covered. Any loose end be conjoined to the rest of these pieces and carefully put to the back.

Once you have done all that, take time to look at yourself in the mirror. This way, one has time to make all the necessary changes and corrections. One can also use accessories to decorate the headgear. This headgear can be used as protective clothing for insulation during the cold seasons.

Some doctors prescribe these gears to their patients. This is especially for those suffering from skin cancer. Covering the skull ensures that the harmful ultra violet rays do not harm the patient. It is vital to note that these scarves are not restricted to anybody as anybody can tie them.

Hair covers, cuff caps and scarves are sold in various cloth line shops. The head turban comes in different colors, shapes and sizes to suit the needs of a stylist. Knowing the different occasions and events that require scarves of appropriate color makes one to avoid looking like a clown.
